The range of services offered includes pouch filling, sachet filling (VFFS), carton, bottle and container filling, block bottom bags, flow wrapping, liquid filling, hand packing assembly, netting and more. Originally established in 1990 in Gloucester, Glowcroft has achieved a successful market position providing a variety of pack types and packing a diverse selection of products.
In March 2001 they relocated from Gloucester to Suffolk and now occupy a 32,000 sq foot purpose built factory in Needham Market. This has further enhanced their packing, warehouse and storage facilities and is easily accessible from the A14 just 5 miles west of Ipswich.
Glowcroft currently pack over 600 different products on their 14 bespoke packing lines including large volume retail packs and short run specialist promotional packs Utilising their extensive industry experience, Glowcroft focus on supporting and advising their clients, ensuring expectations are not simply met, but are exceeded.
This in turn leads to customers realising good return from their investment and establishes an excellent platform for long-term relationships. When times are tough it can make good economic sense for brand owners to use a contract packer with proven credentials, such as Glowcroft.
They may not be able to match the prices quoted by ‘Freds in Sheds’, but what they can offer is up-to-date equipment, a skilled and experienced management team and ISO9001 certificated practices. That means they are able to reliably deliver what our customers require every time. They handle many different types of packaging so it gives their customers the flexibility to try a different packaging option at relatively low cost.
But perhaps the biggest benefit for Glowcroft customers is that they know in advance what their packing costs are going to be – and in most cases these are fixed. If a machine fails, or employees call in sick, Glowcroft swallow the costs associated with these unscheduled non-productive periods, not their customers.They are also home to Glowcroft Design, their creative in house design studio.
This additional service allows them to create everything from a compete re-brand to new pack designs, point of sale, product display ideas and provide visuals of products in shelf ready packaging to show potential buyers.
