On Saturday 14th September 2013, Corkers Crisps launched the world’s largest packet of crisps, all in the name of charity, for the Liam Fairhurst Foundation.
Weighing in at over a tonne and measuring 7.6m x 3.8m, this record breaking packet of crisps was a colossal achievement for this young business.
Over the years, Corkers has worked closely with the Foundation which aids children with terminal cancer, and this latest stunt raised over £1,500 for the charity following a family fun day at the factory which over 2,000 people attended.
At the family day there was a host of local brands exhibiting including, Duck Truck Hog Roast, Norfolk Cordial, and Artisan Smokehouse. All were housed inside a state of the art dome from Evolution Dome who sponsored the event and all proceeds went to the Liam Fairhurst Foundation.
The packet is now staying on display at the HQ but will also be travelling to London when Corkers Crisps exhibits at food shows.
