Students from Swindon College School of Art & Design rose to the occasion when they were challenged to come up with a number of exhibits made entirely from cardboard to mark the 25th anniversary of Wiltshire company GWP.
Students from the design college were asked to relate their creations to the firm’s 25th anniversary and prizes were awarded to category winners.
Managing director of the GWP Group, Ruth Cook, said: “With it being our 25th year, we set the challenge of linking the art to 25 and let the students interpret that. I was astonished, therefore, to see pieces ranging from a teddy bear to a laptop to a three dimensional portrait of our CEO David Pedley! Each student had their own story of how their idea came about and collectively the sculptures have made a fantastic exhibition and certainly one for the scrapbook.”
