Simply Beautiful Collections chooses Fix-a-Form

Professional skincare and make-up brand, Simply Beautiful Collections (SBC) is marketing a landmark anti-ageing skincare range that is selling online and via wholesalers, beauty salons and QVC – the luxury home shopping channel. 

Two of the products from its Collagen Collection feature a Fix-a-Form base label supplied by Denny Bros to help explain what the products do, how to use them and what ingredients they contain. Collagen Day & Night Cream 100ml and Collagen Body Butter 200ml each carry one of the four-page informational Fix-a-Forms.

The Suffolk-based skincare company only recently trialed the multi-page labels after it discovered that some of its specially-created collection packs for use on QVC were too small to include all the relevant product information.  The product information – including ingredients and usage instructions – were incorporated into the Fix-a-Form instead. Batches of 40,000 labels were produced at a time.

It was a simple and green solution which allowed existing packaging to be used and avoided unnecessary reprint costs.

“This solution enabled us to get a unique offering together for our Collagen Collection for use on the shopping channel and we are very pleased with the outcome. It sits neatly and cleanly on the base of the products.

“Our market is most definitely European in profile and so we are now looking towards rolling leaflet-labels out over a great many more projects ahead of the new EU packaging regulations affecting Cosmetic Products which become  effective July 2013.

“The new regulations aim to ensure customers’ health is protected and that they are well informed by the monitoring of the composition and labelling of products. The regulation also provides for the assessment of product safety and the prohibition of animal testing which we fully support.

“We need to include multi-language variants of our products to cover markets including Italy, Germany – and even Japan where the QVC channel has an immense following – and the Fix-a-Form allows us to do that.”
