More than 160 leading suppliers will exhibit at the co-located Plastics Recycling World Exhibition 2018 and the Compounding World Expo 2018, which will take place simultaneously in adjacent halls at Messe Essen in Germany on June 27th and 28th.
The exhibitions will feature a wide array of plastics recyclers, plus suppliers of machinery, ancillary equipment, raw materials and additives for improving the quality and properties of reclaimed polymers. Three conference theatres will host technical presentations, educational seminars and business debates and there will be a networking party on the second evening.
Head of Exhibitions, Rita Andrews, said the event will provide anyone involved in the collection, recycling and re-use of plastics with an opportunity to learn about the latest industry developments.
Speakers lined up for the plastics recycling conference sessions include influential representatives from companies such as Axion Polymers, Coca-Cola, Galloo Plastics, Müller-Guttenbrunn, Nextek, Plasper, RPC-BPI, Suez, Veolia, and WIPAG.
Topics being covered in the free debates and presentations will include: Market analysis; regulatory issues; developing the circular economy; improving the properties of recyclates; sorting and separation technologies; PET recycling; odour reduction; legacy additives; and the future for recycling plastics from packaging, vehicles and electrical and electronic equipment.
