BAMA (The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association) announced its annual award winners at the 2017 Forum and Awards Dinner in Leeds.
Following a record number of entries in four categories; Aerosol Packaging, Sustainability, Process Safety and Training and Aerosol of the Year, judges said the standard of the entries was very high.
The winners in each category were: Aerosol Packaging – Ball Corporation for its Tactile Can;
Sustainability – Unilever UK in conjunction with Moravia Cans for their DWI Aluminium Can;
Process Safety and Training – Swallowfield plc for its Safety Targeting Programme; Aerosol of the Year – Swallowfield plc & PZ Cussons for their Sanctuary Spa Shower Burst.
Runner-up prizes went to Wear Valley Aerosols for its ‘Heat Exchanger Project’, Alloway UK for its Low Line Speed Microleak Detection System, Church & Dwight UK for its 50ml sleeved aluminium Batiste Marrakech Dry Shampoo.
Airpure® was highly commended by the judges, with judges saying its Press Fresh air freshener product showcasing innovative design, consumer focus and superior functionality.
