To celebrate the fact that green labels are in increasing demand Ravenwood Packaging put on a show to entertain Pro2Pac attendees. Linerless labelling specialist Ravenwood Packaging showcased its labelling technology at Pro2Pac/IFE at ExCeL in London on the 17th to 20th March and celebrated greener labels being specified by an increasing number of buyers as the drive towards sustainability gains momentum.
Ravenwood’s linerless labels are now the eco-friendly replacement for traditional labels that carry waste-creating backing paper. Ravenwood supplies a range of specialist labels and packaging machines worldwide including those being picked up by a growing number of manufacturers in Europe and the USA including neighbouring Latin America where new legislation is driving the move towards backingless labels.
The company is proving that ‘simplification’ is the new culture in the packaging arena as less packaging is now more prevalent. Labels and sleeves are continuing to win ground over other packaging formats and linerless labels are surging forward as a result of their green credentials.
