The Plastics Design and Moulding Exhibition (PDM) has announced it will return to Telford in 2013, after two years at London’s Excel exhibition centre where it successfully attracted a new audience from the design community.
Next year’s event, to be held on 18 and 19 June at the newly refurbished Telford International Centre, will feature a bigger exhibition space and a raft of quality paid-for and free seminars, workshops and training opportunities.
The highly specialist content for these programmes is currently being developed with PDM’s recently signed partners which include the British Plastics Federation (BPF), the Gauge & Toolmakers Association (GTMA), the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3), Polymer Training and Innovation Centre, the Polymer Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMMDA) and Smithers Rapra.
Home to over 100 polymer-related companies, Telford has been known as “plastics valley” for over 20 years and was the venue for PDM’s debut show in 2005. The International Centre has recently undergone a £10m refurbishment programme and now offers new conference facilities, expanded exhibition space, a new entrance and public concourse.
