Original labels for original liqueurs

Original labels for original liqueurs

160912 PrimeraThe original liqueurs produced by The Wiltshire Liqueur Company use unusual fruits, such as blood oranges grown on the side of Sicily’s Mount Etna and wild strawberries from the south of France, with the fruits being their dominant flavour, so director, Tiffinie Pride, has tried to highlight this in the labels which the
company produces itself.
Tiffinie is well aware of the potential labels can offer in helping to sell a product and also highlighting its key properties, and with this in mind launched a bespoke labelling service, which enables the company to offer bottles of the liqueurs that are personalised with special messages – be it a message for an anniversary, or other occasion, or just a name.
The stylish labels used on the products’ bottles combine a traditionally English design with an original twist. “Our inspiration came from English designer William Morris and the vibrant Czech art nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha,” said Tiffinie.
Personalised labels are required for 85% of The Wiltshire Liqueur Company’s orders, and the company produces these in-house using its own LX900e Color Label Printer by Primera Technology. While the fast print speeds and separate ink cartridges keep operating costs low, the main advantage is that labels can be printed when and where they are needed in just the quantities that are required at the moment, so there are no minimum order requirements, no plate or die charges or no obsolete label inventory.
“During the Christmas season we produce between 100 and 150 labels a day and without the LX900e we would not be able to offer our personalised labelling service,” Tiffinie said. “I love the fact that the labels never slip so you can set a large print run and leave it running.”
