The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, The Packaging Society and WRAP have been working in collaboration towards a website to provide support to those new to the world of packaging. And they want you to have your say.
The Packaging Hub experts will be giving users a sneak-peak into the website at the Packaging Innovations event from 27–28 February at stand D28. They’ll have a surgery for visitors to fill out to determine additional content tweaks to be made prior to the official launch later in the year. The packaging industry is worth an estimated £250 billion globally and currently all efforts are being made to ensure that sustainable packaging production is increased, and in turn, packaging waste reduced.
The Packaging Hub aims to be a one-stop-shop for packaging knowledge, with industry trends and thoughts updated regularly. The site is set out in easy-to-digest sections, with each step of the packaging process addressed.
There’s an abundance of information available on the site, and further information provided in the links to numerous organisations that can assist.
