Kent-based Actionpoint Packaging has launched a new service called Insight that will help save packaging buyers at least 15% of their annual costs.
Actionpoint Packaging, which has been trading for 40 years, has doubled in size since 2011. With this growth has come increased experience in the industry, and recent appointments mean that a new service called INSIGHT has now been launched to help packaging managers save money.
General Manager Luke Pollard said: “We are now one of the leading suppliers in the South East, and are still growing fast. Our team’s 40 years of in-house experience means we collectively know the industry inside out. We are therefore pleased to announce Insight, which will be a game changer for packaging buyers.
“We often find that clients have either over-engineered their processes leading to high costs, or their packaging has become outdated. Without regular reviews, people will often accept things just because they’ve always been that way. Some of the Insight changes are making a massive difference to our customers’ bottom line.”
The Insight program is a free, thorough review of the packaging and processes by an industry expert of more than 30 years.
His analysis focuses on everything from the source of the packaging to its design, the production processes to courier & delivery options, and from brand image to damage solutions.
Luke added: “In addition to this, we are also part of an international buying group called the Bluewater Packaging Group. This means we usually work out cheaper even for people who are buying from a manufacturer.”
