In spite of the chaise longue that dominated the stand, there was definitely no lounging around for staff from Keenpac when they exhibited at Packaging Innovations, London last month. Visitors to the show were treated to just a small sample of the packaging Keenpac has created for some of the UK and world’s most desirable retail brands; brands such as Paul Smith, Hackett, Dior, Selfridges and Timberland.
One of the most striking displays was the range of retail carrier bags created for Italian Accessories brand Furla. In six different styles, each carrier bag contains a pattern taken from a 10 metre work of contemporary abstract art. A novel way of bringing art out of the galleries and onto the streets! Also featured, were the dramatic black and white gift boxes of cosmetics giant Sephora, as well as the latest Hackett ‘Prince of Wales Check Collection’ carrier bags, which were produced when Hackett launched the collection in the Autumn, to help raise money for youth charity The Princes Trust.
Keenpac is one of the largest suppliers of branded retail packaging in the UK. From innovative design to well managed production and global distribution, their packaging expertise covers all sectors, including fashion, cosmetics and beauty, watches and jewellery, specialist retail, as well as on-line retail.
Said Marketing Manager, Jo Davies, “the show was a huge success for us and we were kept extremely busy with enquiries throughout. We were very excited about exhibiting for the first time ever at this show, and this was a great opportunity for us to showcase what we can do. One of the biggest highlights for us was the ability to meet and network with other packaging professionals and designers from around the UK.”
