Invopak, the UK’s largest supplier of rigid packaging containers, will be showcasing its new product ranges at industry events throughout 2013.
Exhibitions begin with the Ice Cream Expo at Harrogate in February (19th-21st), followed by Packaging Innovations at the NEC in Birmingham (27th-28th) and then Pro2Pac at ExCel in London in March (17th-20th).
Family-owned company, Invopak, has over 60 years’ experience in supplying a range of UK industries including food and beverage production, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Its stands at all three events will display different products from the company’s extensive range tailored to appeal to the show’s target audiences.
Sales Director, Scott Sandilands, says, “2012 was a year of big change for Invopak. We agreed distribution contracts with a number of new, carefully selected manufacturers and we’ve strengthened our product range as a result. We’re looking forward to introducing both existing and new customers to our additional lines.”
Ice Cream Expo
Invopak’s stand at the Ice Cream Expo, taking place at the Yorkshire Event Centre, will contain a wide range of plastic buckets and tubs. Invopak supplies food grade storage in a wide variety of shapes and sizes – it has built up a carefully sourced range from a number of select suppliers in the UK and Europe and offers a number of printing and labelling methods for production runs of all sizes. Invopak’s bespoke approach makes it perfect for small scale producers, as well as larger, well-known brands.
Packaging Innovations at the NEC provides an ideal opportunity for Invopak to showcase one of the latest additions to its portfolio – an oxy-biodegradable range from Polish manufacturer, Cheko.
Established in 1988, Cheko claims to be the first manufacturer to produce oxy-biodegradable plastic containers that are 100 per cent eco-friendly.
Thanks to the special addition of the modifying agent d2w® to polypropylene, Cheko’s containers decompose into water, carbon dioxide, biomass and trace elements in just a few years, instead of clogging up landfill sites for years on end.
Cheko’s products are all made from food grade polypropylene and contents are protected through a collar system which incorporates a tamper evident feature for added security.
Invopak will be showcasing a range of food grade packaging at Pro2Pac, the complete food and drink packaging event, taking place in March. Products on display will include tamper-evident, food tubs, buckets and jars.
Invopak will be exhibiting on the following stands:
• Ice Cream Expo, Harrogate (19th-21st February) – Stand 33, Hall 2
• easyFairs Packaging Innovations at the NEC (27th-28th Feb) – Stand F48
