Continuing its efforts to lead the competition and tackle key industry issues with an expert positioning in the disposable foodservice packaging and waste arenas, Huhtamaki has taken part in the first-ever ‘FootprintChannel’ online and interactive TV debate, entitled ‘Waste – What Next?’
Neil Whittall, Commercial and Contracts Director, Huhtamaki UK Ltd. and Chairman of the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA), joined selected representatives from across the foodservice supply chain to form a high level panel setup to discuss waste issues.
Neil Whittal commented:
“Alongside our continual product development, Huhtamaki constantly looks at ways to educate the industry about environmental issues.
“This not only ensures that our customers benefit from our expert knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing the marketplace, but ensures that we keep one-step-ahead of our competitors by addressing issues which affect the industry.
“Being involved with the inaugural FootprintChannel ‘Waste – What Next?’ provided a great opportunity to tackle some of the most important advances in the foodservice and hospitality sector.”
