Packaging trade show specialist and organiser of PACKAGING INNOVATIONS 2013, easyFairs, has launched #PACKCHAT, a weekly industry discussion.
Hosted every Wednesday at 1pm until 2pm, it will give Twitter users interested in the latest packaging issues a weekly opportunity to discuss the hottest topics in the industry.
Each week there will be a new theme, set by a question posed, although participants will be welcome to put forward their own questions and ideas.
The very first #PACKCHAT will take place on Wednesday 5 December 2012, providing a forum where packaging professionals can gather and connect with fellow packaging enthusiasts; the first topic to be discussed will be ‘Why has packaging got such a bad rep?’
Alison Church, Event Director for the easyFairs Packaging events, comments:
“#PACKCHAT is a great way for all those involved in packaging to catch-up on the latest industry news, discuss recent changes, hear about the latest packaging innovations and express their views on the packaging issues that matter to them. We’re expecting some lively tweeting!”
#PACKCHAT will take place on Twitter every Wednesday; follow @easyPACK and watch out for #PACKCHAT at 1pm when the chat will start.
In a move to bring social media right onto the show floor, the show organisers will also be hosting a live #PACKCHAT at PACKAGING INNOVATIONS at the NEC, at 1pm on Wednesday 27 February 2013, in the show’s Social Media Lounge.
