Offering all of the functions you would normally expect to find in industrial CIJ printers the Leibinger series incorporate unique features to minimise maintenance and maximise availablity.
Start-up and shut-down problems have been eliminated by sealing the nozzle when not in operation (see video).
The ink system has no gear pump and no requirement for factory air. This helps maintain ink quality and gives exceptionally long intervals between maintenance periods. Eliminating pump wear makes the systems especially suited to handling pigmented inks (a full range is available including white and yellow).
Typical applications include: bottling, canning, cable marking, pipe and extrusion coding, metal and glass marking, blister packs, form-fill seal machines,web numbering and addressing.
When the system is shut-down the gutter tube is moved up to completely seal the nozzle, preventing the ink drying out. When the jet is started it fires into the sealed the gutter tube, so no splashing. When the jet is running the gutter tube is lowered to the normal operating position. There is no wasted ink, no flush solvent use and no mess.
ATD offer the latest Jet2neo and Jet3 models. Both incorporate Windows touch-screen user interface, stainless steel enclosures, ethernet and serial connectivity, USB data back-up and restore, multi-line printing and all barcode and 2D-code formats.
ATD CIJ systems come with a 24 month warranty and 12 month maintenance interval. There are no timeouts on ink reservoirs or filters.
Both systems are available with EcoSolv solvent recovery system, reducing running costs and protecting the environment.
